Hi everyone, so here is my issue - I have recently built myself a PC and here is the spec list for information:

Motherboard: Asus Z890M Wi-Fi
CPU: Intel 265K
GPU: Gigabyte RTX 4070 Super
Ram: Kingston 64GB 5800MHz
PSU: Corsair RM1000i
Case: Lian Li Dan A3

First I installed Windows 11 on it and it ran like absolute horror - new tabs were not showing until I moved around the window, scrolling introduced freezes (even though it kept scrolling) etc. etc.

So I thought F it I will try Windows 10 - so I just installed it. Everything, and I repeat everything runs lightning quick. It's amazing.

EXCEPT THE CURSED Wi-Fi AND BLUETOOTH??? I swear in god I have been trying to resolve this issue with ChatGPT for the past 3 hours and I simply ran out of options.

I have installed the latest updates of Windows, tried all kinds of troubleshooting, driver updating etc. nothing worked.

That being said, in the Asus website, under the motherboard, the wi-fi and bluetooth drivers are only appearing for Windows 11 and when I try to install them it recognizes it's Win10 and refuses to continue.. then again I can't possibly see a reason why it won't be available on Windows 10.

Can anyone please help? The Intel driver for the wifi is not even being displayed and the Bluetooth one is having an error code 43.

That's pretty much the problem. There's no Windows 10 driver. You could try and find out what the actual name of the Wi-FI chipset is and see if you can find any other drivers. But chances are you can't use this WiFi chipset with windows 10.

there's one of your problems. Remember that AI doesn't know anything, it's actually just trying to appear to be a human. Please don't dismiss this.

If you wish to use this computer on the internet, you're going to have to use Windows 11 when October rolls around anyway.

Yeah I thought so too .. sadly downloading even from Intel's website didn't solve it. Thanks for the confirmation 🙂

ChatGPT actually provided a very, very exhaustive list of solutions, some of which I have never heard of or would not find browsing the internet. That being said, I do know it's to be taken with a huge grain of salt.

Hence why I wanted to check with the forums 🙂 Thanks for confirming as well that it won't work as well though.
