I have been wanting a laptop for a long time. I have a PC already but I am out and about way too much that when I use it, it is usually not video games. (Work, school, etc)

The laptop doesn't have to be brand new either. I don't mind buying used.

I'm looking something to play Minecraft (Java), TF2, some indie games like Hollow Knight, Undertale/Deltarune, Hyper Light Drifter, Shovel Knight, etc.

Preferably a smaller screen but beggers can be choosers.

Steam deck might not be a bad idea, or a similar type of handheld. Much more usable when on the go since you don't really need to find a desk or similar space to use it. Also other requirements would be good to know, like budget, battery life and so on. But generally speaking most laptops will be able to play those games. If you want a laptop a used or new Asus Zephyrus G14/G15 would be a good choice. They're fairly compact with decent battery and solid specs, definitely more than adequate to run those games.

I considered a Steam Deck or ROG Ally but I didn't see the appeal to one. 😕
As for some more details, my budget would be around 400 - 500 (I'll probably end up buying something used). As for battery life, I guess it depends? I hope at least 6-8 hours.
