New identical builds both have fans at constant full blast.

Go to solution Solved by relo999,

In bios they're all on "silent" mode and switching the power mode from Automatic to PWM also didn't change anything.

Edit:

Found the issue, newest BIOS seems to have a bug. The version before the latest works fine (3.16), still the case fans 1 and 2 seems to be treated differently as they spin later than the fan on header 3 and the CPU but that's a none issue.

Hey,

Today I build 2 identical builds and out of the 3 casefan headers 2 are constantly at 100% power. I've installed the latest BIOS of the Asrock motherboard.

The builds:

ASROCK B650M PG
AMD Ryzen 5 9600X

16GB Crucial Pro Overclocking
Lexar NM710 1TB
MSI MAG A750GL PCIE5

3*Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM
Windows 11 Pro

Header 1 and 2 are constantly at 100%, Header 3 seems to be fine. Both PC's have the exact same issue.

Sounds like you just didn't set the fancurves...you also may have to switch modes between DC and pwm (or "smart")
