Thought i'd share this build since i havent really seen anyone else do this

 

Motherboard: BD 795m 

CPU: Ryzen 9 7945hx

GPU: used 3070 from facebook marketplace

RAM: 2x 16gb Crucial 5600mt/s SODIMM DDR5

SSD: Samsung 990 evo plus 2tb 

+ some harddrives from old pc

PSU: Cooler Master MWE 750w gold

 

Gets about 33000 in Cinebench 23 multi threaded

 

And i primarily use it for BOINC

idk how i would describe it but,

the bd 795m is a custom m-atx motherboard by minisforum that has the laptop cpu ryzen 9 7945hx directly soldered on it

with "laptop" ram slots

 

but it also has a pcie gen 4 x16 slot for a graphics card
