I have a peerless assassin 120 and my fans have been fine for about 2 years but recently i realised that they sound unusually loud and that they rumble like crazy sometimes during games and when i touch the cpu fans they also vibrate like crazy.

I don't know how i can fix this or what is causing this but it isn't cables as the rumbling sometimes just stops for a few seconds.

Can i take the fans off or do i need to remove the whole cooler to fix something?

Any help appreciated

you can take the fans off without taking off the cooler. does it make the noise all the time or just when at a certain speed? its most likely the bearings going bad.

Check the mounting clips, they may be loose on the fins

Else just replace the fans, TR fans are like $4 apiece...You could get better performance Arctic fans for a bit more (or can spend way much on better and quieter BQ or Noctua fans)
