is it just me or has youtube quality gone down then watching on TV?

SO i mostly watch youtube on my tv and i have 1g internet.

my issues are it now takes forever to login in to ur user and sometimes you need to even manumaly select user account u want login.

normaly i need to wait like 10 to 20 second before user can login or it will pop out.

 

2th issues videos sound keep playing,even if i close video i can hear speech and video is closed.only to fix it is compelty shut down youtube app.

i own 5 samsung 1 lg tv and all have same issue.

seriously google fix your apps,i dont complain about advert,since i pay for preemium

Youtube automatically selects a lower resolution compared to the Display, so if you have a 4k display, Youtube will choose 1440p. The same is true for phones.

did u only read title?

i clearly said then i open app it takes 10 to 20 seconds to login into ur user account or you need to manually login from switch account and select user.

 

and secondly i talked then i close videos,audio of that video still keeps sometimes playing,  even if close it and browse for new suggestions

This sounds like you just have an old TV.

Restart your tv if that doesn't work then restart router if that doesn't work then try update tv.

Nuh, it always selects your screen resolution (if available), ik because I often have to set it lower manually to "save bandwidth"...

 

It even sometimes remembers this setting, but usually doesn't.

Update the app. Or if your tv has a browser use that and don't use the app... gosh last time I used yt app is probably 5 yrs ago...
