Hi Guys,

I want to buy a new phone. Currently I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE

There are some features that are a must-have for my smartphone

OLED Screen

min. 6.5" Screen

Water Protection

Wireless Charging

very good battery lifetime

long update support

budget < 500€

Phones with these features in the price range would be the Xiaomi 14T Pro or the Galaxy S24 FE

Are there any relevant points or features to help me make the desicion?

Thank you!

Of the two the S24 FE, as it'll probably have a better ecosystem and support.

I would be tempted by the Google Pixel 9a if it's available in your country. The screen is a bit smaller (6.3 inches), but I've used it — it's one of the most well-rounded mid-range phones I've ever seen. It ticks all the other checkboxes and has one of the best camera systems I've seen in that price range.

Samsung OS and UI is something I will not choose ever again.

I have S23 Ultra, not happy with the form factor, charging speed, not happy with One UI.

I have 8k samsung TV, UI, OS is crap.

Well I've used my current S20 FE for four years now and have that big of a problem with One UI.

But the higher charging speed of the Xiaomi is really tempting

The Pixel 9a is available here. But I don't know if I would be happy with a smaller device than I have now.
