What would be a good upgrade from 6700 XT for 1440p?

Right now I'm running 6700 XT. It served me well for quite bit a while, but after an upgrade from 75hz FHD display to 165Hz 1440p I feel it's not adequate enough. What I'm looking for is 1440p ~100FPS on High (maybe Ultra if it's even possible without getting my wallet dry) without RT, would be paired with 12600KF and 650W PSU. I don't really know what price range I should state, because I'll be getting an used one anyways + my country is not using EUR/USD like probably most of the people here. What GPUs should I consider?

7800 xt, 4070, 6950 xt, and the 7900 gre are some options.

Honestly there is not much that makes sense at current prices.

I'd say RX 7900 GRE / RTX 5070 if you can find it for a good deal but anything less is not a meaningful upgrade and anything more costs way more that what it's worth right now.

Personally, the minimum upgrade I would consider from the 6700 XT would be something in the range of the 9070/9070 XT, 7900 XT, or 5070 ti. This is because, when it comes to GPU upgrades, my opinion is that I want to get roughly double the performance, and these cards would do that (9070 is 88% faster according to TechPowerUp and the others are all faster than that).

 

I would ideally also like to get double the VRAM, but that seems less feasible in this case, so at the very least I would want to get more VRAM than the 6700 XT has.
