A lot of the things have been blown out of proportion as is usual by the doom posting YouTubers, which may impact some users in some cases. Sucks to be one of those, but for most people most of the time it is fine.

 

Owner of 5070 Ti since day 2 and there was only one game which may or may not have been impacted by the drivers. Look at the outstanding issues list on the latest driver and as long as you're not heavily into one of those games it'll probably be fine.

The bad part should be over.  I can't specifically on 5000 series, but the last two drivers installed for my 4090 haven't had any issues.  A few drivers back I did have the 0 RPM fan issue.
