CPU temps 85-99 degrees celsius at idle and there is no major background activity........................even MSI center and other intel monitoring tools show cpu consumption is 7-18%

This is insane amount of temps. And i know it will kill my pc faster. Also i do notice issues with performance when using more than one application like google chrome tabs (1-2) and telegram.

Sometimes they would abruptly shut ....noticing temps even hit 100 celsius

i use my Pc majorly for music production. i use it for cubase software

i'm pretty sure that aio is mounted properly with thermal paste on cpu

i feel BIOS setting has something to do with this

How do you know this? I would remount. Check the thermal paste, make sure that you are tightening to the appropriate spec.

What makes you think it is a bios issue?

80C idle isn't normal, especially with 360mm AIO.

Is pump speed at 100%?

How did you install the AIO? Did you check the thermal paste spread when remounting?

actually i did check the spread ..........applying the the paste and then spreading it with the tool they gave me to spread it with..............i did the whole remounting thing thinking it might bring the temps down but it has been the same before and after .

And pump fan speed is at 100% most of the time because of high temperatures

On a cpu with a heatspreader like this you DONT spread the thermal paste as this may cause bubbles or no contact areas. With these you allow the force of the cooler to do it for you.

The pump is spinnig right as well as the fans? The fans arent blocked by glass or something else? Is the aio's rad above the pump?

Strong disagree. That is a myth that has been disproven many times.

both of them are spinning. Not blocked and rad is front mounted

You buy a $35 air cooler and try it.  If temps drop... Aio mounting or defect issue.

you have to DO something.

I would have also said that there's something wrong with the AiO. It could be a lot of things. Maybe the fins got clogged up with who knows what, maybe something in the pump is failing, maybe liquid has slowly escaped over the years and now the water no longer reaches the pump (though at that point you'd clearly hear the pump being unhappy)

I removed the plastic peel. And the paste was applied just fine ....checked the sides ...no spillover of paste. And i'm looking at the temperatures in Celsius just right now (still ~90C)....What do i do??? Also u meant mounting spacers? Right?

You forget the plastic peel? Use the wrong spacers in the AIO mounting kit? Did paste get pushed out the sides from mounting? Reading in Fahrenheit instead of Celsius?

Thank you for pointing out that bro but the thing is i bought this setup like ~4 months back. And liquid is definitely not leaking or escaping checked it twice.

Tell me if there is any other thing i could do to make a difference. Would grateful of you bro

I don't think any remotely decent thermal paste application can be responsible for this. I think if you deviate within 50% of a good paste job, it should be fine anyway. I think your issue might be an air bubble caught in the pump. The easiest way to try fixing this is completely dismounting the pump and radiator, then semi violently shaking the pump WHILE keeping the radiator above it. Your goal is to shake, vibrate, and move the air bubbles upward and away from the pump and  into the radiator. Ideally you want the space where the air bubbles will go to be as far as possible from the pump as possible.

When remounting, you'd want to keep the radiator tubes down, so the liquid goes into and comes out of the radiator from the bottom, minimizing the chance for any air bubble that you hopefully trapped at the top of the radiator from coming back into the pump. This part is less important, as I've used multiple radiators with the tubes coming from the top for the past few years due to limited tube length, and the main reason any air bubble ever gets caught in the pump is me moving the whole case around, and not just randomly.

My air cooled 14700K idles at 40C and never goes above 90. A properly installed AIO should not hit 90.

Nothing idles at 90C, not even AM5 CPU with weak cooler.

First uninstall MSI center, it's known to cause massive issues, including overheating.

Second, get an air cooler (easier to use and more efficient)
