Help please! Dell 32 Gaming monitor, Xbox series x, and Vizio 5.1 soundbar with HDMI arc how to connect to monitor without HDMI arc

I have a DELL 32in Curved gaming monitor with displayport and 3.5mm output ports, an xbox series x, and a vizio 5.1 home theater setup and it requires HDMI arc which my monitor and xbox do not have. I was wondering if there is any way I can connect the soundbar to either the xbox or monitor and have it work through adapters or anything. Please help as I've looked everywhere online and have gotten so many different answers and I am so confused and unsure. Anyways, thank you guys.

you can run an hdmi from your comp (it will be a second monior fyi) that will connect that one for audio.

as for xbox maybe a hdmi splitter. youd have to swap cables to use one comp or xbox

or you can get a capture card and run your xbox into the pc then the pc set up above.

the last i can think of (youll loose surround thou) a 3.5mm to hdmi adapter to go from monitor to bar

It's because mixing traditional TV items (console, soundbar) with traditional computer items (monitor) is very convoluted.

You have to buy an AVR / Home Theater receiver.

Xbox HDMI out -> Receiver HDMI in
Soundbar HDMI out -> Receiver HDMI in

Receiver HDMI out -> Monitor HDMI in

edit: nevermind. it doesn't work that way for soundbars.

If you got an AVR, you'd need to buy passive speakers and ditch the Vizio system.

Or you need to buy a TV

Xbox HDMI out -> TV HDMI in
Soundbar HDMI out -> TV HDMI in (eARC)

that does not work on a avr.
if the sound bar has an in and out then he can go avr - sound bar - tv
