I’ve been having some issues with my pcs frame rates and consistency with frame rates recently and was wondering if there was a small issue or a bottleneck that I’m unaware of, as it stands I think my pc is all round solid and expect better frames because it’s said to be able to handle 1440p high. I run all games at 1080p as that’s the kind of monitor I have. For example in escape from tarkov I hardly reach 50fps on low setting nevermind high, and other story games like borderlands 3 and dying light 3 it’s incredibly inconsistent going from highs of 120 to lows of 30. higher settings but I’ve limited frame rates to 100 and it will still drop off and the game feels buggy. To add another point my cpu won’t boost, supposed to boost to 4.4ghz but is stuck at 3.6 ghz.

I have a Ryzen 7 3700X, a Corsair 240mm aio, a ASUS b450f gaming II, gigabyte eagle oc RTX 3070, 16gigs of crucial ballistix at 3600mhz and a cosraid 850w psu.

any help would be appreciated.

are your gpu and chipset drivers up to date? what are your hotspot temps? and what is the utilization of your parts?
