Any idea what's wrong with my pixel 8 pro?

I've been seeing this issue for a little while on my phone but it's getting worse. I'm not sure what it is. Maybe it's something graphics related? I've heard that there are some issues with pixel 8 pros and that they're starting to extend warranties and what not on some of that kind of stuff. Any idea of my phone would be covered?

Looks like a display issue. You could try and see if it does it on the bootloader or recovery to eliminate the OS (that would narrow it down to hardware). However sometimes these issues don't always occur when we want them to. 

 

You could also ask this XDA as well, in the Pixel 8 Pro section as well.

Seems like the phone was dropped, and caused damage to the display, or there was a faulty display cable. Probably gonna cost around 300$ if you bring it to a repair shop, the screen alone is around 220$, if its not covered under warranty. And dealing with your phone being shipped out for a while is not ideal either. Could be lucky and it just being the screen cable, but again youd be testing parts and seeing if it fixes it.
