my icue link hub needs a 6pin pcie but i used all pcie on my gpu, so i found this as a solution and did the power consumption math and turned out with this:

3x CORSAIR iCUE Link LX120-R RGB Fans:

Each draws 0.4A at 12V.

Power per fan = 12V * 0.4A = 4.8 Watts

Total for three 120mm fans = 3 * 4.8W = 14.4 Watts

1x CORSAIR iCUE LINK LX140-R RGB Fan:

Draws 0.45A at 12V.

Power for the 140mm fan = 12V * 0.45A = 5.4 Watts

Power for the Fans Combined: 14.4W + 5.4W = 19.8 Watts

Adapter's Rated Capacity: 110.4 Watts

Two SATA Connectors' Capacity: ~108 Watts

how safe is this to use as kind of a permenant solution or atleast i change my gpu after couple of years?

It should be fine, but if your PSU has molex connectors available, it might be worth using those instead. Molex generally handles 12V loads better than sata. Buy a quality adapter as cheap/thin cables on the adapter can be a risk & keep an eye on the heat of the cables.

Startech are a well known brand and make quality products, cost a bit more money but it's worth it 100% - Let me know how it goes 🙂

As long as you stay within the rated power output, then you should be golden long term 🙂 I've certainly done sketchier solutions that worked out fine aha
