Hi! Looking for some help with my first pc build. I have some experience but mostly theory, so looking for any suggestions or advice. 🙂 ❤️

Budget (including currency): 60000 CZK

Country: Czech Republic

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 1440p gaming, video editing, blender

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): here's my pc part picker part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/LrBvcx

Don't forget this very obscure and secret website, that totally doesn't even get ads on the TV:

Bring the CL latency down to 30.

You can set the website to Czech prices from Alza, your list is US based, because each time you open pcpartpicker it defaults to US.

Small motherboard in big case? Though mATX seem to be cheaper at least on Alza.

https://cz.pcpartpicker.com/list/CFV4h7

Case could be cheaper, considerably cheaper. Even if you want big glass box with RGB fans, you could find cheaper empty case and fit it with separately bought fans:

Deepcool CG580

Corsair 3500X

ARCTIC P12 PST A-RGB 0dB 3-Pack

Gigabyte AORUS EZ CHAIN FAN 120 3-Pack

Fractal Design Prisma AL 3-Pack

Or regular cases recommended here:

Montech AIR 903 MAX

Fractal Design Pop XL Air

Fractal Design North

NZXT H9 Flow (can save almost 2k without RGB)

be quiet! Pure Base 500 FX

And, if you'd like more options I can come back tomorrow and look around, for example, RGB AIO?

https://chlazeni.heureka.cz/deepcool-lt720-se-r-ls720-bkammm-g-1/#prehled/

  • You can't find this on pcpartpicker

Build looks good though, change the RAM to CL30, Kingston is good.

Everything else quite solid, but could be cheaper without losing quality. If the things I mentioned aren't the things you're looking for I can look for different kind of products.

Feel free: To ask any question, no matter what question it is, I will try to answer. I know a lot about PCs but not everything.

current PC:

thank you so much! super helpful feedback. h9 flow was my previous choice when it comes to case, but they pulled it off alza. But yea, everything else you said, i will consider.

thanks for the ram latency tip, that was a bit of a oversight from me, you're totally right.

I have one question, is it possible to put m.2 drives into the motherboard and then add them together into a single drive? because i already have a nvme ssd in my prebuild i currently use. so it would be great if i could also use it.

personally I don't know, you'd have to ask someone else here,

my scope of help regarding this would probably be something like, finding motherboard that can take 3 NVME SSDs:

alright, that's fine, i would still have to leave/put an ssd in there, cause I'm planning to gift the prebuild it to my s/o, so it doesn't really matter i guess.

Sounds like a plan, I'm back so for the next ~7 hours, if I get mentioned/quoted I should answer within those 7 hours or at the very end.

I thought of another question, do you think i necessarily even need an upgrade to this level of config if i want to upgrade from my 1080p 60hz to 1440p 120+hz light/mid gaming+productivity?

Currently i have 12400F, 3060ti, 32gb ddr4 3200 cl16

It does depend what game you're playing, you might still need new PSU for better GPU. And CPU upgrade also depends on your motherboard.

It also depends on game, if you're looking for boost, this benchmark is 12400 vs 7600 with 6900 XT GPU: (1080p)

image.thumb.png.4b6d2a36f71ea159ebbd63e1c9cdbd98.png

image.thumb.png.b3c7c8aedcf3ff57e21c5d218e08774f.png

It's up to you, 12400 is already decently fast to deliver smooth 60+ fps gameplay which in majority of games is more than enough, and you could just get better GPU and PSU so that you could crank settings higher and crunch Blender renders faster and do more complex scenes.

That's about it for me today though, so more from me tomorrow. (I live in same country)
