Friend has old pc. cheap upgrade used recommends?

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): .

i know this budget is more a placeholder. my friend has a really old pc ddr3 time pc. i just want to know which are the best recommends for parts used for a ultra budget build.

 

my idea maybe an old but not ultra old used office pc and just through in a cheap gpu in it. just want some ideas. my friend lives in germany. he has no pc build experience but i am gone visit him and can do it for him.

You can't get a PC for €150, its just not going to happen.  At least not something that can game.  It will do web browsing quite well though.

The best would be to get a cheap Optiplex and throw a low powered GPU that doesn not require external power like some models of 1050Ti's, 3050's and 1650's from Nvidia.  AMD has their own 75w options.

But even for €150 that is a challenge.

 

Might be possible to throw in one of these low powered GPU's in the current system.

some intel cant remember ecactly but a 4xxx on ddr3 and only on igpu. so i think any gpu would be a upgrade. for axample found second hand cheap 960 2gb for around 30 bucks. and i also think that almost any cpu on ddr4 should be worlds faster then an old ddr3 one

Might be barely doable with used am4 (ryzen 3100 + b450) and most of thr parts will be used from cpu board gpu to psu and case probably only gonna be the nvme and ram thatll be new
