Built PC in vertical case now I hear sparking from GPU?

Hey all,

 

I recently moved my pc into the ch270 by deepcool as I wanted it to take up less desk space. I moved from the lian li a3 to this vertical design for the reason above.

 

i noticed not long after the pc makes a sparking noise near the gpu. However this only occurs during gaming and when I lay the case down so the gpu is horizontal the noise stops. Please help me understand what is happening.

7800x3d

gigabyte elite b560matx wifi

coolermaster 850w sfxl 

ASUS tuf 4080super

My best bet is you didnt seat the connector properly

Same noise has happened to me when the outlet of the PSU wasnt making proper contact

I ensured to push in the gpu connector I’ll check the psu one in the morning thanks
