My old Sanyo TV's remote and button panel stop working when I connect my Windows 11 Laptop via HDMI

Hi, guys. I am new here.

I have a Windows HP OMEN 15-inch from 2018, a MacBook Air M1, and an original Chromecast. Also, I have an old 32-inch 720p Sanyo LCD 32xh5 TV that I use in my living room. The problem is that whenever I connect the Windows laptop to any of the 3 HDMI ports the TV has, the remote and button panel stop working completely. To the point that, when I need to turn the TV off, I have to unplug the power cable from the electrical outlet, along with the HDMI cable. However, this issue does not happen when I connect the MacBook or the Chromecast. I have tried with different HDMI cables and the 3 different HDMI ports on the TV, but the issue is always the same. I read on another forum that it could be that the HDMI control (CEC or ARM) is turned on on the TV, and that is causing the issue. But I read the manual, and the TV is just too old to even have that feature. I definitely think it is a Windows 11 issue that updating the drivers has not resolved. I do not have another Windows device to check with. I hope you can help me. I've tried to find the solution for almost a year now.
