I currently have existing storage so I don't need to buy them. 1tb SATA SSD, and 1tb NVME.

My current build is a 5600x and 6600xt. I'll be giving my computer away.

Current monitor is 1080p, also looking for 1440p monitor recommendations.

Using bundles from Canada Computers, The total breaks down to CAD $2,428.95 pre tax.

Any advice would be welcomed. Thanks!

Cooler is overkill. Any Thermalright dual-tower would suffice.

Something like - https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/vZfV3C/thermalright-peerless-assassin-120-se-v3-7084-cfm-cpu-cooler-pa120se-v3

Price limit?

What's this useful for?

This looks really good generally! The biggest thing I would note is that you're spending a lot of money on Corsair RGB and the liquid cooler. You could save a bit if you went with a simpler aircooled setup. The power supply is also probably overkill for the setup. Then you could afford a 9800X3D instead of a 7800X3D.

You are definitely overpaying for the cooler.

If you want an AIO for Aestethic reasons, go for it but you can get a faster computer with a decent AirCooler.

Changed RAM to 6000Mhz CL30 as this is the sweetspot.

1000w PSU is also overkill, this system would easily run on a 750w.

You want DDR5-6000 CL30 if you intend on gaming seeing how games benefit from low latency RAM. 850W psu is more than sufficient and as others have pointed out, a dual tower cpu cooler is plenty fine for that cpu. If you decide to go with that Corsair case then add a 120mm rear exhaust fan to your build. This latest generation of AMD and Nvidia cards support PCIe 5.0 so find a board that supports PCIe 5.0 for the gpu. If you decide on a dual tower cpu cooler then look for low profile RAM so that the heatsinks don't impede said dual tower cooler.

Price limit?

Thanks. Will look at those dual-tower options.

Don't' really have a price limit on the cooler. Something good that will last a while and lead into the future of AM5

Yeah, I meant the price limit for monitor. But the QD-OLED i recommended is the pinnacle of gaming monitors basically.

Samsung 27" Odyssey OLED G6 G60SD

also good but a bit pricier:

Dell Alienware AW2725DF

What's this useful for?

Thanks! I can find a fan or two from my old built to put in the new one.

As for PCI gen 4 vs 5 for the motherboard, I saw that it was like a ~1-2% difference.
