5090 vs Ada vs A series vs AMD graphics card.

You wouldn't, the 5090 is the top-end consumer AI card.  The only reason you might buy something else is for models too big to fit into the VRAM of that card.

AMD is very much playing catchup in AI workloads. NVidia's CUDA cores are the only way to go.

Common build advice:

1) Buy the cheapest (well reviewed) motherboard that has the features you need. Paying more typically only gets you features you won’t use. 2) only get as much RAM as you need, getting more won’t (typically) make your PC faster. 3) While I recommend getting an NVMe drive, you don’t need to splurge for an expensive drive with DRam cache, DRamless drives are fine for gamers. 4) paying for looks is fine, just don’t break the bank. 5) Tower coolers are usually good enough, unless you go top tier Intel or plan on OCing. 6) OCing is a dead meme, you probably shouldn’t bother. 7) "Bottlenecks" rarely matter and "Future-proofing" is a myth. 8) AIOs don't noticably improve performance past 240mm.

Consumer facing one ?
Prolly RTX6000 Pro Blackwell or 6000 Max-Q

RTX6000 Blackwell is basically 5090 with 96GB VRAM and a bit more ROPs

Only like maybe US$8500ish

 

or go for H100 for only maybe around US$16500 more.

I think answering that question would give you a bad answer. Can we get some more detail on what you are trying to achieve? Are you actually shopping for a GPU? Or is this just out of interest? If you are shopping, do you have a Budget? what country do you live in? what kind of AI workloads are you looking at?

I could list the latest which would be an amd apu gpu and for nvidia be the rtx5060 but well both are COMPLETLY different specs of gpu's and performance
