Strange condition I have been having recently is where I can game and use my computer generally for multiple hours at a time, but the second I go idle and walk away it will completely freeze. When it freezes, the display is still on where I left it and the computer is still on with no errors on the motherboard or screen to be seen. Tried reinstalling drivers, swapping ram, reinstalling windows, changing power settings. Next steps I am going to take is flipping the BIOS switch or swapping the GPU entirely with a old one to see if it is hardware related. Any help to this is appreciated because it is really stumping me. Specs are below.

Motherboard: Asus ROG X570 Crosshair VIII Dark Hero

CPU: Ryzen 5900X
RAM: Kingston FURY Renegade 2x32GB 3200MT/s CL16

GPU: XFX Merc 7900XT

PSU: MSI MAG A750GL

All stock power settings/UEFI settings

When this happens try pressing the Windows Key + Ctrl + Shift + B when this next happens. It will reset your graphics drivers.

My First PC
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
Cooler: Asus TUF Gaming LC240
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550-f gaming
RAM: 4x8 GB Corsair Vengeance RS (3200 MHz, CL16)
Storage: 1tb Samsung 980 Pro
Graphics Card: Asus Dual RTX 2060 OC
Case: Deepcool Matrexx 50
Power Supply: Corsair RM650x
Headset: Razer Blackshark V2
Keyboard: Corsair K70 Pro Mini (Speed Silver switches)
Mouse: Razer Viper Mini
Only changes I have made is I sold the 2060 for $235 AUD and bought a Powercolor Red Devil 6700 XT for $400 second hand (it was barely used, think I scored a deal on Ebay with that).

I love Photography (Using a Canon 60D)

Love F1, my favourite team is Ferrari and my favourite driver is Leclerc

In BIOS check if fast boot is enabled or disabled. In Windows set to the same setting. Its called "fast startup": Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Power Options\System Settings.

If its not the same in bios and windows, adrenalin will crash and corrupt your GPU driver. After setting it correctly. Download DDU and run in Safe mode. (will prompt at program start).  Go to options, in DDU, set "prevent windows update from installing drivers". Run "Clean and restart". I recommend using 24.12.1, as it runs the best for RX 7000, download and install: https://www.amd.com/en/support/downloads/previous-drivers.html/graphics/radeon-rx/radeon-rx-7000-series/amd-radeon-rx-7900-xtx.html
