I've watched several videos and checked the official product pages for both components, but I found conflicting information and now I'm a bit confused.

Does the ROG ASTRAL RTX 5080 fit inside the ASUS GT502 case?

Where can I find the most accurate and reliable information about this?

Existing builds and some basic common sense. First of all, its a fishtank case with a 400mm GPU length limit, it'll fit any GPU on the market and anyone who builds PC's knows this just by their design. But if you want details, lets work through this.

The GPU is 357mm long.

Here is a picture of a 4090 STRIX that also happens to 357mm long IN an Asus GT502 case.

PCPP's "Completed Builds" feature + some critical thinking can work out any part compatibility issues you may have.

As others have mentioned the GPU length fits 400mm is plenty for any GPU currently on the market.

BUT, what IMO you need to be on the lookout for usually is the max CPU cooler height. This is super important for how much your graphics card ***and its power connector*** will be sticking out. this is in my experience what makes most people have to return a chassis or change it to something else. you need to have comfortable headroom there for not just the GPU length but also the connector and the cable that bends out of it.

It will fit as another user has posted an image from previous builds, but i'm not comfortable with that 163mm from that chassis. I like something like the Lian Li Lancool 3 that gives me a comfortable +180mm there for the CPU cooler height. I don't like aggressively bending a 12vhpwr and pressing it against the glass.
