Hi. I have been using my Asus WS C422 SAGE 10G and a Intel Xeon W-2295 workstation for over two years now and all of a sudden I am unable to boot. I get a code 32 on the motherboard and only way to get into the BIOS is to do a CMOS reset. After a reboot the error comes back and I need to do another CMOS reset to enter the BIOS. Asus support suggests it is the CPU but when inside the BIOS the CPU registers as normal and the RAM look ok. Is there anyone here who have experience with troubleshooting faults like this? I tried Copilot already but it doesn't now anything. Help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Roger.

Looking at the Manual page 118 says Code 32 is a "CPU post-memory initialization" error.
To me there are three possibilities in ascending order of probability:

1: something wrong with CPU. Could be dying, but that's VERY unusual. Try reseating it.

2: something wrong with the RAM. Could just need to be reseated, though could also be dead/dying DIMMs so try booting with just one stick in C1. Try each stick.

3: dying mobo. Motherboards have a lifespan. Sometimes they just die. This one is 7 years old which is the expected lifespan of a mobo. You might just have bad luck
