Is there any way to simulate a Copilot+PC in a Virtual Machine? My PC doesn't have an NPU. I do know there is ways to use Recall in a VM, but it seems complicated and doesn't mention any other Copilot+PC features. Thanks!

At least in theory, yes. Anything you can do on an NPU you could theoretically also do on a CPU. It would just be many orders of magnitude slower.

In practice most likely not. There's simply no reason to build such emulation since it would be too slow to be of practical use. Copilot also has a minimum requirement of 40+ TOPS. Not sure if it just checks the NPU model or runs some type of benchmark, but it might refuse to run even with such emulation, if it determines its minimums isn't met.

~edit: Of course it might emulate an NPU but actually run things on a GPU. That would be fast enough, but it wouldn't be as efficient.
