What are the current best GPU benchmarking tools that can be run continuously on a loop and don't require a Premium subscription?

If you choose option "GAME" then when it loads hit ESC and choose benchmark in the left top corner you can run it continuously.

I just built my new system with a 5000 series GPU and I want to do some overclocking, but I realised I don't actually know what the best benchmarking tools that can be run on a loop. I normally use superposition but it only runs once for a couple of minutes. I know Furmark is not really recommended as it's just a power virus to maximise heat.

Are there any free ones that can be run continuously on a loop that are modern enough to properly stress a high end 5000 series card?

AFAIK they don't really exist. Nor would I really recommend them, those loops don't usually do that great a job at stress testing GPUs anyway. Just find the overclock settings you want to use then play through a few of your favorite games as a stress test, that's a better indication of if it's stable than anything.

Doesn’t 3DMark have a loop option on its 3D tests? I’m not at home to check. No subscription there and pretty much the golden standard for GPU testing.

But if this is for personal stress testing, just play a variety of games.

It does, though you need the full paid version which is what I'm assuming they're trying to avoid.

Odd, as they bought a $2000+ GPU alone and don't want to shell out a couple bucks for benching?

I'd subscribe a month, bench the shit out of the machine, end sub.  Done.

Well, they said "subscription" so I took that as an ongoing payment. Maybe just a misunderstanding. Either way, 3DMark bundle is on sale right now.

I thought the paid software was much more expensive. I don't recall which one it was, but I remember looking at a benchmarking/stress testing suite when I bought my previous GPU, and it was over $100. So, as I'm only going to use it for a few hours, I thought that would be a bit of a waste.

I didn't know other ones were just a few dollars so that's far more reasonable. Thank you for the info and advice

i just use 3dmark and actual games, anything UE5 or from ubisoft is very good at finding problems, also space marine 2 and poe2.

Wow, thank you so much. I Googled and read a few threads on how to make it loop, but I couldn't find anyone who mentioned this.

If we go old school, Heaven can loop if I remember correctly.

FFXIV benchmarks (Latest one Dawntrail) has a loop mode although I never tried the loop setting.

3DMark is a one time payment. Consider it if on sale. Slightly annoying if they add new benchmarks in future, they might be charged for. I don't have Speedway for example.

A "subscription for updates" one could be Aida64, but the GPU stress test in that is more compute than gaming. I have a long expired licence so it is way out of date now. Even with discounts I'm struggling to see value in buying an update.
