Hello! I have been planning to build a PC for quite a while now and I have finally saved up enough. Since this is my first time, I thought it would be nice to ask here for any issues I might face before I order anything. I will list the parts with names and I will also send a link for the parts list from the website I will order everything.

Motherboard: MSI B650 Gaming Plus WiFi Motherboard ATX
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 4.5GHz
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5070 12GB GDDR7 Windforce SFF

RAM: Kingston Fury Beast RGB 32GB DDR5 RAM (2x16GB)

Any feedback is much appreciated ❤️
Thanks for reading!

EDIT: I have replaced the motherboard with the https://www.skroutz.gr/s/43133393/MSI-B650-Gaming-Plus-WiFi-Motherboard-ATX-me-AMD-AM5-Socket.html

I see no issues here at all 🙂

This is a fantastic build!

I had a similar build for almost 2 years ( 7700x + RTX 4080 ) and it was such an amazing gaming machine. Loved every second I used it.

Correct RAM speed.  Good PSU, bit overpried CPU cooler but overall not bad at all.

Its about the same with the peerless assassin in cost

The assassin is at a minimum 48.35 (if you pick it up from the store that has it the cheapest so no transfer costs) or a lil over 50 with transfer costs, the Be quiet one is 48.75 with transfer costs so they are roughly the same

btw I dont disagree, they both are overpriced a bit but the be quiet price is in accordance to other similar-ish dual tower coolers in terms of price

BTW^2  OP, for that price or lower you can go for a corsair RMx PSU (Up to 140ish depending on wattage), a cheaper yet still great PSU like a be quiet 12 M(  about 115 to 120) or a even a platinum efficiency one like the toughpower PF1 (120ish)

The most I can nitpick on is the motherboard having the top PCIe x16 slot right up the tallest position possible. That's one way to limit CPU cooler compatibility even though I'm not certain whether the Pure Rock Pro 3 is affected by this. It makes installing more difficult anyways.

But the closest I can see is this

https://www.skroutz.gr/s/43133393/MSI-B650-Gaming-Plus-WiFi-Motherboard-ATX-me-AMD-AM5-Socket.html

The cooler choice itself could be better too, the Thermalright peerless assassin is a few euros cheaper.

Also if you don't need the extra PCIe slots, nothing wrong with mATX board and case.

No not really, they are about the same if the the assassin being a lil more expensive

This is a great thing to point out because it is super annoying when your CPU cooler is too close to your GPU. That said, I've only actually noticed this as being a problem with coolers with 140mm fans. 120mm coolers usually still leave you a decent amount of space above the first PCIe slot.

I'm having more fun than you 😠

Hey! I see what you're saying but the B650 doesn't have the PCIe 5.0 x16 needed for the RTX 50-series. Do you maybe have a better replacement around that price range?

Also, I checked for a Thermalright peerless assassin though I can't seem to find one that's either smaller or cheaper. << Disregard, they are indeed smaller, I guess I will stick with that so I don't have any issues, Thanks for that!

Last thing I want to ask: Will I have any issues with the ram while using this cooler? When I search online, most people have this issue with CPU coolers.

No PCIe 5 is not needed and the card will work on PCIe with barely loses if any

Also no you wont find a cheaper peerless assassin (talking from personal experience) unless you are in thessaloniki and able to drive to a specific store

You don't need PCIe 5.0 x16 for the RTX 50 series. PCIe is backwards- and forwards-compatible, and all that really matters is that is has enough bandwidth not to hold the card back.

Yes, the cards are PCIe 5.0-compatible, but in reality, PCIe 4.0 x16 will have enough bandwidth to get the most out of even an RTX 5090, as you can see in this GamersNexus video.

Now it is possible that if you went way too low on the PCIe gen (like if you did PCIe 3.0 x4 or something) then yeah, you'd start to hold an RTX 50 series card back, but PCIe 4.0 x16 will not.

I'm having more fun than you 😠

This is probably a weird thing to say but I'm applying to present at a conference in Thessaloniki next year and as a Biblical history enthusiast I'm really fuckin' excited that I might get to go there.

380mm what specifically?

The case I listed, if you check the whole description, these are the dimensions:

Height: 455 mm

Width: 210mm
Depth: 380mm
Max GPU size: 300mm
MAX CPU Cooler Height: 165mm

The depth seems a bit small.

Not the biggest not the smallest

As long as your GPU is >300 ideally >=285ish its fine
