I would prefer not to push my budget too much and the plan is to use this monitor for long term daily as my main. I am used to capping 120FPS in-game.
Here are my options at around the same price range:
- Acer EK251Q G/24.5inch/FHD (1920X1080)/IPS 120Hz
- MSI MP251 E2/24.5 inch FullHD (1920x1080)/IPS 120Hz
- ViewSonic VA2432A-H (23.8 inch/FHD/IPS/120Hz/1ms)
- AOC 24B20JH3 (23.8 inch - IPS - FHD - 120Hz - 1ms)
I have heard people preferring Viewsonic > MSI > Acer but Viewsonic is only 23.8 inch and MSI only have 2 years warranty (others are 3)
Is there a noticeable different between 100/120/144/165Hz? I mainly use it for entertainment (movies, Valorant, TFT, LoL). I have also seen a lot of mixed reviews about IPS vs VA. I can push my budget a bit to get LG 24GS50F-b (23.8 inch/FHD/VA/180Hz) but I feel like 180Hz is overkill but the brand is more "safe" and I do plan to upgrade my GPU in the future. There are also other options from Acer and AOC with IPS 165/180Hz in that price range (VG240Y S/AOC 24G4E)
There are also good deals from Duan, Dahua, Edra, Xiaomi (Redmi G24) but some people say the quality is not as good also more prone to errors.
There is also an option to buy an AOC 24G2 24inch/144Hz that has been used for 3 years so no warranty (for cheaper than any of the above mentioned options). How long is an expected life-span for monitors cause my G24F 2 just broke after ~3 years of using normally.

Skip VA monitors, potentially try to maybe get decent 240Hz if you play shooters, at very least a near Hz to it that is good. You will have to check some reviews, from Monitors Unboxed for example. There are bad monitors so that you avoid those.

Any suggestion? I might just push the budget a bit more for a long term main monitor and upgrade my pc part by part down the line. I am looking at something like GS25F2, LG24GS60 or maybe VX2757/58-2k

I'd go LG from those.
