Black screen after CPU upgrade but i didn't do anything wrong

Mobo is PRIME a320m-k, old CPU - athlon 200ge, new CPU - ryzen 5 1600, BIOS version - 5409 (compatible with new cpu), PSU 400w (enough for my build), monitor connected to gpu obviously.

 

Basically i upgraded from athlon 200ge to ryzen 5 1600, and got a black screen with no usb ports working. Fans were spinning, CPU was heating, SSD was heating, basically everything was heating as if pc works normally but it wasnt workin. Tried changing my CPU back - still got a black screen. Tried resetting BIOS by removing the CMOS battery for like 30 minutes, didnt help. I tried short-circuiting the CMOS, didnt help. Checked EVERY single wire/connection, tried swapping RAM, tried using only 1 ram, tried unplugging my GPU and connecting to mobo directly with athlon 200ge, tried booting with no RAM, literally nothing helped.

 

I brought my PC to a computer service to fix it alongside with some broken USB ports and stuff. The repairman avoided the question why it wasnt working, all he said was "simple diagnostics helped". Just what exactly was wrong with my PC?

update the bios to the newest version, with your old cpu in

Updated my bios to 6241 as well as AMD chipset to 6.05.16.221. I'll try to insert the new cpu again now

It worked! The issue was either the bios version, either the chipset drivers

Most likely BIOS
