Hello, everyone! So I have a problem in one game (EA SPORTS WRC) PC likes to shut down(screen goes black and PC's just off) outta nowhere. At first i thought that this may be a problem with PSU, because I had 6 years old 550W Corsair. I changed my PSU today to Be Quiet's 650W and problem still appears. I checked the event logs and the only one thing that suits to the time of shut down is DCOM 10016 (which always appears, even when I turn off PC by switching off the button on the back of PC or plug out the power cable, so it's probably not the case). To be honest, now I just don't know what to do. Every single driver are up to date so probably that's not the case either. Also any other games does not cause this type of problems ever. Maybe one hint - If I lock fps to 90 with AMD Adrenalin, problem does not appear. Without locking, game gets 120-130fps.

My PC Specs:

GPU: RX 7600

CPU: i5 12400F

MOBO: Gigabyte B760M DS3H DDR4

RAM: 32GB

PSU (old one): Corsair VS550

PSU (new one): be quiet! System Power 10 650W (BN328)

Thank you for any help and answer!

If its happening in an instant, everything goes dead immediately rather than the screen going black first and then it taking a while for the power to go out - then I'd wager its still the PSU shutting down due to that specific game causing a huge spike in power consumption.

I see a lot of people recommending 750W minimum for the RX 7600 (although with more demanding CPUs than you have) and personally I wouldn't have gone lower than an 850W.

ASUS B650E-F GAMING WIFI + R7 7800X3D + 2x Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30-36-36-76  + ASUS RTX 4090 TUF Gaming OC

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) Backup: GL.iNet GL-X3000/ Spitz AX Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz) WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz)
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~1200Mbit down, 115Mbit up, variable)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7

yes, its happening in an instant. Only in this game, also only in a specific menu of the game.

Referring to the second paragraph - I did not see any recommendations about 750W or even 850W. 550 should do the work and it actually did in every other games and things, except this one, but 650W is a far beyond requirements of this GPU, but still I went for it to just be "safe and secured" and it does not help.

Don't think the PSU is an issue, rather some shenanigans with the GPU or drivers
