Other details: i bought a prebuild but didnt really inform myself at all the specs are as follows 

cpu: ryzen 5 5500

gpu: RTX 5070 12gb

ram: 16gb of ddr 4

ssd: 1tb 

ram: one stick of 16gb

psu: 650 w 80+ bronze 

motherboard: A520

those are the i know im a noob and was really afraid of buying the pieces on my own my friend said that the current build needs some upgrades

i was thinking about a new motherboard that can take AM5 cpus and ddr5 ram however i dont know what kind of cpu i should get to not bottleneck my gpu witch i think it is already

i also dont know if its in my budget

all this was also done with my own research on the internet so i dont know what to buy and im still very unfamiliar with pcs 

i initially bought a prebuild because i dont know how to change pieces but ill probably talk to one of my friends about that

It would be helpful to know some details of the case.

 

The motherboard sizes (likely ATX or M-ATX) that can be housed in the case. Easiest way of determining this is to count the expansion card opening on the rear. Six or more, usually 7, the case is ATX. Less than 6 the case is likely M-ATX. (1 - 3, the case is mini-ITX.)

 

The other important dimension is the maximum CPU cooler height. A measure from the top of the motherboard to the inner side of the left panel is a decent approximation.

 

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
