Epomaker is refusing to send me the product that I bought. Might potentially not refund me.

Name of Brand:

Epomaker

Description of your issue:

Paid for a keyboard from them a month ago (Tide75). When I bought the keyboard, they had stock of the keyboard and still sold it days after I bought it. The keyboard has since gone out of stock, and yet when reaching out to them, they claim that there is no stock left. But my order was placed when there was stock??? Is this a normal wait time, and am I being too over-eager? It could also be that I am to over eager, but it has been a month and I have not heard anything, and I am worried that I might not get the product at all.

Have you tried solving your issue through the brand's customer support channel? If so, what was the result?

I reached out 3 times. The first 2 they never acknowledged or responded to (In fairness, the first 2 might have been a bit early, as I have never bought a keyboard this expensive and I have no idea how long a keyboard takes to make or ship). I reached out again today and finally got a response, which said that the keyboard is out of stock (even though it wasn't at the time I bought it). They offered to exchange for a different product or a refund, but with how long it's taken them to tell me that they have no stock, I have a fear that they might not refund me and might just try to wait as long as possible for me to basically give up on getting a refund

What would an ideal resolution of your issue look like?

The ideal solution would be for me to get my money back since it is unlikely that I will be A. getting the keyboard in the first place and B. if by some miracle the keyboard does arrive (which I have serious doubts over), it will be so many months (or years at this rate) later that I will probably have a different keyboard by then, making the epomaker obsolute.

Is Epomaker a sponsor for LTT?

Did you pay with a credit card? If you're getting radio silence, I'd just file a chargeback.

I bought the Epomaker because they did a sponsored video on Epomaker and they also did a video on the Tide75 as well and it looked good on video. If I still get radio silence, then I will file a chargeback

Just so it now. You got basicallt silenced 3 times. That and you may be running out of time.

They offered you a refund but you didn’t take it?

You don’t know that until you actually allow them to try.

Its bad practice to keep inaccurate stock or not to inform if something out-of-stock is accidentally ordered (happens because tech isn't perfect). I wouldn't say you are being overall impatient. But if they have offered refund, imo you should take it. If product is not being restocked and you did buy when it was already out of stock, you don't really have options. Its store's mistake, but if its limited offer or something they are not going to continue producing, they won't make changes. Refund is best you will get, unfortunately.

So, one thing I forgot to include was the screenshot saying that I wanted a refund. I thought I did include it, but I saw it is not in the post. That is my mistake. I am pleased to announce that they refunded me; when I woke up this morning, I got a message with all my money back. So, at the very least they did refund me

I would have personally gone through with that an let them attempt to make it right before overthinking the whole thing with this post but glad it worked out.
