psu power cord

I changed my psu and the power cord which it comes with is so big, it doesn't fit in the power bar socket

can I use the old power cord?

here are some pictures

this one from the old psu

the big has 16A 250V (socket outputs 220-240V probably)

and the other is 13A 250V

please keep in mind that both PSUs are not modular

only the power cord

That one with rouded prongs sure does look like it's not intended for regular residential use.

 

What PSU do you have, and where did you buy it from? In THEORY, yes you should have no trouble using the previous power cable.

my old psu is FP750B ant eSports

the new one is asus tuf gaming 650

I purchased both from Amazon

It should be fine; your computer isn't drawing anywhere close to that 13A cable's rating. The C13/C14 connector is also universal, you can use the same cable with both power supplies.

Your 650 watt power supply will draw less than 3 amps from the wall (at 240 volts), even if it's running at its full capacity.
