Hello, I'm considering those two psu for my next build. My main question is this. Is the NZXT worth the premium over the Lian Li unit? The Lian Li one cost $160 and the NZXT is $205. My biggest concern is when I checked Hardware Buster reviews on the Lian Li unit and they mentioned "Not sure about the capacitors quality on its secondary side". How worried should I be? Moreover, those two are the only choices I have.

PS. The build will have a 9700x and 9070xt in the Antec C8 case. I know 1200w is overkill. I was aiming for the 1000w model for the possibility of future upgrades but the price difference between the 1000w and 1200w is pretty small

PS. 2 LTT Lab already did a review on the Nzxt C1000 3.1 and the result looks good but sadly they haven't review the Lian Li one yet

I think i would go with neither. Both PSU brands are not amazing.

The LTT community is pretty great. Don’t make it not great, don’t be dumb.

I've read good things about the NZXT C1200, not so much about Lian Li Edge Gold 1200 but probably because there are not many reviews of it.

Here's a topic regarding the Lian Li in LTT Forum though:

Some Super Flower models are quite highly recommended and affordable.

What's this useful for?

My only concerned was the remark made by Hardware Buster. "Not sure about the capacitors quality on its secondary side". Seeing how they are one of the leading psu tester. This comment had me worried

I just found a Corsair RM1000X for 207 USD. This is the 2024 ATX 3.1 version. Is that a better unit?

Yes. Corsair RM and HX series are both amazing! I have a corsair HX1000 currently and they are amazing! GO for it

The LTT community is pretty great. Don’t make it not great, don’t be dumb.
