Help!!! Graphics artifacting after trying to install polaris vega navi. I didn't know what I'm doing.

I was running into AMD Graphics Drivers error 1603 and so searched on how to fix it. Then I found someone saying to use Vega Navi. I attempted using it and then had atrocious artifacting. After booting into Windows Recovery I tried to reset the PC. But after it was done, the artifacting has continued. Please can somebody help me - I do not know where else to go.

Have you updated your BIOS?

What hardware are you using?

I have an RX 7600 XT and I have not updated my BIOS. I believe that the drivers I installed were completely incompatible with the GPU but I don't know how to fix it.

First, I'd recommend updating your BIOS on your motherboard. Then, you should boot into safe mode, uninstall the drivers, and then reinstall them.

This might sound like a dumb question but how do I update my BIOS? Also, the computer is pretty much unusable with the artifacting.

I'd recommend just looking it up online. It would give you a more detailed answer than I can.

What kind of artifacting are you encountering?

I see... Well. I am 90% sure you can access the BIOS still and see it if you plug your monitor into your motherboard.

Yeah, I honestly just am scared of doing anything at this point and feel physically ill, are you sure I shouldn't try doing a clean windows install from a USB stick, booting from it, trying to run DDU in safe mode and then installing the RX 7600 XT drivers?

You could if you wanted to. Would you not run into the graphical issue in safe mode as well?
