Lossless Scaling DualGpu on pcie 1 oder even below ?

i currently have a mobo with a second slot thats support pcie3x4 or if pcie3x2 if all satas are used. will a second gpu in this slot even work and can itaybe be enough for lossless scaling dual gpu mode ? on all resolution from 1080p up to 4k ? just wondering about it and what would be a good choice for a gpu would be it. a 1050ti  for example?

As long as the slot is physically x16, the card should fit and work.

 

Though I doubt it is worthwhile, depending on what your first card is. Probably makes more sense to just use DLSS/FSR/XeSS on that card directly.

afaik amd is best for lossless scaling and whaddaya know theres an abundance of old polaris rx 570 580 8gb for 50$ or less
