Hey LTT community!

So I finally saved up money from my first job to build my dream PC. I've only ever owned a hand-me-down gaming laptop and a PS5, so I'm very excited (and nervous) to build this 😄

I managed to grab an RTX 5080 FE at MSRP which is what prompted this whole build.

I've done a fair bit of research but before I pull the trigger, could you guys help me sanity check if everything looks okay? I wanna be sure that I am not wasting unnecessary money somewhere and I'm willing to spend a little more if it gets me better performance/reliability.

Here's the pcpartpicker list, thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot! I'll check this case out. I see that you also recommended a cheaper RAM kit 💛

One question - could you help me understand your reasoning as to why I should go for 1000w PSU? Asking because I originally had a 1000w PSU in mind but got feedback that 850w would be more than enough lol.

Also, is the NZXT C1000 better than Corsair RM1000x? They are priced very similarly.

Pretty much any decent brand 1000W ATX 3.1 psu will do fine. $2500 budget, out of the blue gpu power spikes, says 1000W is the way to go.
