Regarding Tariffs in Shipping from the US

Hey, everyone. Hope you all are well. I contacted LTT support a few days ago (Thursday, 12pm PT) regarding a question but did not get an answer yet. I'm hoping someone over here could answer it for me.

For privacy reasons, I'm keeping my location private, but I recently contacted LTT store asking if they ship to my country. The AI mentioned that in order to ship to my country, they'll first send the package to the US and that it'll be shipped from there. I wanted to know if I'll be levied import tariffs if the product is being shipped from the US.

To be clear, not customs that I will have to pay when the package enters my country, but rather, if there are any tariffs that come from LTT sending the package to the US before shipping it from there.

Given the new administration's tariffs policy, I just want to be sure that I won't have to pay a significant up charge for no reason. Ideally, I'd like to get a confirmation before the Shipstorm ends.

The way tariffs work is that they are specifically for imported products. They are not imposed to packages that just pass through country without being opened or otherwise altered. It would be different if you buy something from US, but they would need to order something from Canada first. Then that item from Canada would first be imported to US and then to you. From LTTStore, its just passing through due to how global shipping logistics are organized. Most likely you are located in region (pure guess would be South America) where there are no direct shipping routes, but it need to go through hub located in US.
