Just installed my new GPU (9070 XT), but had some issues with it not being seated properly into the riser. When I installed the card, I did it with the riser already screwed in to the case (obviously). But I wasn't getting a connection at all. My screens wouldn't turn on, and not even the GPU fans or RGB lighting would turn on. After doing some troubleshooting steps, I figured out that when I install the GPU into the riser slot with it outside of it's little slot in the case, THEN put it back into the case, I got a connection. However, I am unable to get to the 2 screws that fasten this piece into the case with the GPU already in it. The PCIE riser slot feels secure in it's little slot and is NOT sliding around at all, even without the screws. But I am also fully aware of how jank this is to leave it like that long-term. Is it too risky to keep it like this? I don't know if I can get a proper connection to my GPU if I already have the riser installed. What should I do?
