It finally happened (never trusted this fan tbh) how hard is it to replace it? Can I use a noctua 120mm and do I need an adapter or something?

There's a review on TPU (assuming the same model/year, etc), which might be helpful.

There are several infact, but it's not really useful, if I do this I need a none Corsair fan... They use the worst fans imaginable ...

I just think the connector might be an issue, I don't want it to run from mobo, too janky lol.

From what I can see (from google the Corsair fan number), they're the type you can unplug/plug without tools like a soldering iron, but I can't tell if the 4 pin is equivalent to a standard PWM fan. From looking at the connector, I suspect not, reminds me more of what they use on graphics cards.

Ah, wait... Maybe I can just replace the fan itself... eh, no idea, but apparently a 140mm would work.

I really don't want to buy a whole new PSU because of this (and the fan doesn't sound like it'll last very long anymore, or gets less noisier lol...)

That's assuming the RMi 650 really uses the same fan?

It appears to be the same fan, though my guess is that you'd have to use an adapter (mini 4 pin?) to plug it in, otherwise you'd have to route it outside of the PSU?

This is way outside of stuff I know though and I'm not sure where you'd go to find out.

Is it not under warranty? I'd look at an RMA (or advanced RMA from Corsair) if possible before MacGyvering a solution.
