Upgrading To Rtx5080 and now can't install Nvidia Drivers

Hi guys. So Im upgrading from my 2080ti to a 5080. After i installed new GPU, I couldn't boot past the Windows Pin screen.

 

I can boot into safe mode fine and have done the ddu uninstall process. This allows me to boot up past the pin screen but when I install Nvidia drivers, when completion dialogue appears and resolutions adjust, The PC freezes and I notice the fans on the GPU stop. The case fans and lights all remain on. Only way to get control back is to hold power button and turn off and then boot back into safe mode and do the ddu uninstaller again.

 

I've also tried installing different versions of the Nvidia drivers but with no luck.

I also should mention I was able to get past windows screen by changing to pcie 2.0.
