the 7800 xt is right around $600 dollars depending on the model.

Used rtx 3090 or if you wanna save another 150$ or so and dont need the nvidia features used 6900xt/6950xt around the 450$ mark

 

Abit slower than the 9070xt afaik but it isnt a complete joke like what youd be able to buy new example being the 7800xt or 5070 the former being an overpriced 6800xt with marginally lower power draw and the latter on the borderline of having no vram whilst closing in on 3090 pricing

7900xt can be had for mid 600's in the US.

 

7800xt for $600 makes my heart hurt

Well I got a 650w psu with a 13600k, it’s under volted to account for stability issues, I bought it before the whole issue started. Im in the US
