So here is my is my issue, I bought a used iPhone back in early march. Before buying I did all the IMEI checks to make sure the phone was clean and when I got it, it was.

Got it, reset the phone and logged in with my Apple ID (former android user but I use Apple Music so I have an Apple ID) I used to phone for about a week or so before I got a settings notification that I needed to sign in again. I tried it and got "verification error: there was a problem connecting to server” or something similar. I tried it a couple of times and I left it for a while. By the time I came back to try again it was a new error I got. Apple ID is not active. I tried to through Apple support, I didn’t all they asked me to do. I tried to reset my password, I couldn’t, I tried to even reactivate my Apple ID, it didn’t work.

After several weeks of calling Apple support (via Skype [RIP] because Apple has no support number in my country apparently). They confirmed they have permanently locked my account. I can’t remove my own activation lock. I can’t use find my. I can’t use the AppStore. I am just stuck with an iPhone without any services. My installed apps still work but it’s only a matter of time.

I don’t know what to do anymore and from my research on Apple support forums and Reddit.  It seems this is a prevalent problem. A lot of people have phones that are just permanently bricked or made useless.

Unfortunately we can't assist in bypassing any security measures.

However I have a considerable amount of experience with iOS/Apple ID verification, so I can leave you with some small guidance.

You need to consistently speak to Apple, and request a higher level of support.

Have them remove the association between the device and your existing account and see where they can take you from there.

I highly double they will help with the actual device itself.
