any budget mic recommendations for 100$ or less???

i was looking for budget but a nice sounding mic, any intresting options on the current market??

My friend has one of those Fifine mics that came with a clamp mount arm and he loves it! He sounds great over discord and hasn't had any complaints. My brother grabbed a Razer Siren mini and he loves it, and of course sounds great over discord he got it for MSRP in 2023 but it was super affordable at like $60 iirc. I personally use a Blue Yeti Nano that I got on sale for like $50 in 2022, again no complaints.

 

What are you trying to do with it? Because just about anything will be good enough for your discord and zoom calls, they have a ton of compression when sending/receiving so Mic quality isn't suuuuuper important. But if you were interested in dipping your toe into content creation or had another reason why quality would matter, then I would check channels like Harris Heller for a good old fashioned mic review. In which case I think he was praising the Elgato Wave, so that's a solid bet. The thing you're going to run into pretty fast is that any pro-grade mic will be XLR, which means you're going to need a mixer, which is going to push your budget north of $100 for sure. Which leaves you with USB mics, and again, small differences in quality wont matter in most cases. If it's not urgent, if I was in your shoes I'd deal hunt and wait for price drops on a handful of models. Otherwise I found a Razer Siren Mini refurb for $33 on amazon, or a Fifine usb mic with arm for $40. And if you don't like it return it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ glhf

I have the AM8 and it's awesome  
Totally plug-n-play with the included USB-C cable. I didn't adjust any settings on Discord or Steam. It worked perfectly straight out of the box.
