Yep, they'll work together just fine.

It's OK, though I really would want to have a Hynix based kit (something with a lower tCL value) if you can, half for performance, half for compatibility as there are a few BIOS revisions that really don't play well with those Micron based 48GB sticks like that one you're referring to.

What are you doing with the system anyway? There might be better options out there.

it will most likely be worth it to gat a 6000Mhz and cl30 instead because its more stable with Ryzen cpus.

Would it work, yes, as long as it's a DDR5 kit and as long as your MOBO will support that amount.

However, I strongly, and personally would stick to anything 6000Mhz or above.

I see that you're trying to save money, which is reasonable and understandable, however, do you have a reasonable use case for 96GB? I have 64GB in my main gaming rig, and while yes, I am planning on purchasing another 64GB kit to give me 128GB, it's only because I tend to run several VMs at once for the work I do and I can benefit from having the extra headroom. This wasn't to insult you, just bringing it up, I went through the same ordeal when building my last computer, you have to separate needs from wants when building a PC or else you'll get over your head.

If you're really wanting the 96gb and want to save the extra money, used is always an option as well, you can usually save a good bit, watched a 96GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 kit go for $150 the other day.

Don't call it a gaming rig then?  Saying you have 64 to 128 in your main gaming rig is disingenious.  It's not your main gaming rig, it's a PC.  Period.  Done.

It does a lot of VM, so hence the 128GB.

My ram selections  is limited. Either that one or the one with that extremely fancy and 100 USD more expensive

G.Skill Trident Z5 Royal 96GB (2x48GB) CL32 6400MHz DDR5 Silver ( 330 USD )
Gskill Ripjaws S5 96GB (48GBx2) DDR5 5200Mhz ( 250 USD )

I need to buy a new pc for Unreal Engine editor.  I can opt for 64 GB 6000 Mhz
Gskill Trident Z5 RGB 64GB (32GBx2) DDR5 6000Mhz (F5-6000J3636F32GX2-TZ5RK) ( 186 USD )

But I don't know if the mother board gonna run 4 sticks.

I am planing to get this motherboard:
MSI X670E GAMING PLUS WIFI  ( 260 USD

Zen 5 does appreciate the extra memory speed, but I have run 4 sticks at 4800 and outside of some benchmarks, it felt fine, maybe even a little smoother in game than my faster ram since with the 4 sticks I was in a 2R configuration.

I'd say it's ok, even if 6000CL30 would be optimal, in gaming the 3D CPU aren't really dependent on RAM speed

In workloads, really depends on what it is, but the CPU is already fast aplenty

Yeah, avoid 4 sticks if you can, they usually cause issues.

Where are you shopping for RAM? These prices are quite high for this tier of kit. These are approaching 2x64GB prices for memory kits.

Yes, that is my thought as well. Either that or the the normal version of the chip with expensive 6400 DDR5 Ram kit
