PC Upgrade, What should I look for first?

Budget (including currency): Around $500

Country: US

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: FFXIV, MH Wilds, BG3

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Current Build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/luke.ario/saved/#view=dBM7vK

Hey all! Got some help here on building my PC, and this thing has been wonderful! Now that I've had some time with it I'm wondering what I should look for to upgrade next? Some general ideas on what I should look out for with the current parts I have would be helpful! As far as specifics on what made me consider an upgrade:
1. I got the AOC CU34G2XP Monitor recently, and it's great, but I noticed switching this in from the old junkyard monitor I had as the dual to the ACER that when I'm playing on one monitor that videos playing on the other monitor constantly freeze and buffer. This didn't happen at all/as much outside of FFXIV with the acer/junkyard monitor combo. This nit pick isn't a deal breaker if it would cost way to much to get that working, just a nice thing I like to be able to do.
2. The bigger piece is games, mainly MHwilds, have started to reach the strain on my computer. I know Wilds is a pretty bad PC port, but just wanting to see if it is truly the port that's bad, or if I'm nearing the end of life on any of my components and need to update them.

Any help is appreciated ❤️

Basically, you bought a monitor that is to much for your GPU.  I have this with my kids machine.  She was gifted a 34" UW monitor like yours, yet she's using the 6650XT for 1080p.

Try running games in 2560x1080, that's the same ratio as 3440x1440 so it'll look fine.   She altered this in Minecraft, and it's perfectly fine but Ark: Survival Evolved is still a sub 30-fps slide show.

Then look at a 7800XT/4070 or better to handle the new monitor, now and for the future.  May need a few more bucks in your budget if you want to play modern games on it as they come out.

Your resolution is a gpu killer. Ebay your current RAM and replace it with this set for now until the prices of gpu's normalize.

Yeahhh, I figured that was one of my issues. Honestly alot of the games I play at 3440x1440 still can run at 60+ fps, so I was pleasently surprised, but that makes sense then on needing the upgrade to handle it better. Thank you for the help!

Oooh, Thank you for sending that over! I was wondering if a RAM upgrade would a smart first upgrade or not! Question about mentioning selling the RAM I have now, is that because they wouldn't work in tandem with this new pair?
