Hi All

Wondering if someone could comment I have a 3090Ti and Intel i9-12900 and I barely get more frames on my rig playing warzone than I do on PS5.. (ranging 110-130)

I know this game is poorly optimised and I have custom settings setting particles etc to low but surly i should be getting more FPS than PS5?

Any help appreciated!

Might need to tweak the UEFI to unleash that i9 12900. Its probably running into a TDP limit that's preventing its clock speed from boosting high enough. The B660 motherboard isn't going to help and might not give you any options, unfortunately.

With a tool like HWinfo64, what boost clocks and max wattage are you reaching while gaming?

Tbh this is probably CPU bottleneck...  130-180fps is all I got with a r5 3600 and 3070... And even then it was pretty obvious there's a CPU optimization issue and 12th gen Intel is about the same I imagine... Only way to improve this noticably is with a X3D chip (imo)

Funny thing, I definitely got more stable and higher fps with most bells and whistles at high/max...

Warzone is definitely that game where it's true that shifting the burden to the GPU is beneficial, I'd even say it's its ONLY redeeming feature (cause no gameplay) 😛

Yeah i thought CPU bottle neck but thought id be able to squeeze more than 140 frames from it .. Ive tried on+boost to push it more GPU but just never enough. you think a Mobo + CPU upgrade the only way forward ?

Yeah my mobo or CPU doesnt allow for any overclocking unfortunately, was just hoping for some extra performance as i dont want to upgrade if i could help it.

I havent tried, ill download and see what comes.
