Hi, I've been trying to remove left over files from my old Netdata. These files does not go away and seem to be re generating. I'm new to Linux and not very familiar with it. If anyone knows why this is happening and how to remove them, that would be appreciated.

Thanks, IsakStar

Can you provide more details? E.g. how did you install/uninstall Netdata. What exactly are we supposed to see in your screenshot?

The directories look like they belong to some form of lightweight Kubernetes environment (k3s). If files reappear, then most likely whatever service creates them is still running. Meaning you'd need to stop/remove that container beforehand.

You're also searching for "metadata", which is a very generic term. A lot of software creates files with "metadata" in their name, so they might not necessarily be related to Netdata.

Remember to either quote or @mention others, so they are notified of your reply

That looks like the UI of TrueNAS (Scale if it is actually linux based). If that is the case, you need to uninstall it from the apps page not the CLI. While some things in TrueNAS can be done from the CLI  most major operations should be done through the GUI. Even a command seems to work on the CLI it may either be non-persistent or not incorporate necessary secondary actions. That said, what is it about those files that makes you thing that they are related to the Netdata app. They appear to (mostly) just be Metadata about your snapshots from your application dataset more generally.
