The b450-f is not WiFi I had to buy a WiFi adapter on bird not the pcie 16 the smaller of them and it was working fine (the WiFi and the computer) for about 2 weeks I bought the computer and tower and and cooler and a 1600 cpu all together with over kill the fans in the case think there like 9 or ten in the case and has a 1080 GeForce i however only had a very small 120 gig had and wanted to up grade to stats m.2 4ths I bought 2 of them Allie style if corse bc I’m cheap and when I put them n I noticed that there were no m.2stand offs so I had extra thermal tape and thought stupidly ill just put some behind it and that there is enough fans they really don’t need heat sinks so I didn’t buy any so placed them in and fired it up didn’t show any display in bios or boot it any thing not even a vga weight light straight to green and then off???? Took them out and thought maybe e it’s bc it was too much gab for the older style mobo si I pulled the had and as u know more about computers than me at this time not thinking the os on it would be gone bc I formatted it on another computer so now I have bought a flash drive went to the library downloaded the windows media creation tool got online. I bought a new copy of Windows key I proceeded to put it all in and now it won’t recognize the VGA light display light. It won’t do anything it will power up to the rim and then I think it’s a red yellowish orange and then straight to white it stays on the white. I’ve tried cleaning the graphics card. I’ve tried multiple different HDMI cables, DP cables. I’ve tried a VGA cable a DIC or DI whatever that is cable I bought a DVIHDMI cable I bought a DVI to deport cable I tried multiple different monitors and I really like this computer cause it has sentimental value. I’m completely stuck. I bought a new CMOS battery I reset the same. I downloaded the updated copy of FiOS, but there’s not a bios reset button so I took the battery out and I had to see L ends together, and I also tried putting it in every USB port in the seaport to get the bios to automatically update without display and cannot figure this out whatsoever and I am stuck. please try to help me figure this out thank you so much.  New to computers learning as I go.

p.s. Could I have ruined the mobo if it’s still showing the vga light???

to better understand the issue you should check in your motherboard manual what the vga light means, did you connect correctly your monitor to your GPU? did you select the correct input for your monitor? can you please list all the tests you've done one by one in multiple lines?

sounds like an issue similiar to this one i found on reddit:

i use Arch (Btw™) but i will not bother you with the linux is better then windows war ❤️

I have taken the computer completely all the way down to just the motherboard without the CPU. I put everything back in from the motherboard up CPU ram all the plugs graphics card everything and I’ve taken it all apart again down to the CPU took the CPU out tried booting it without a CPU wouldn’t even power on, but the CPU in it would not power past the lights put ram in with the CPU. It would run past the ram light onto the VGA light Put the graphics card in without ram and it would run to the ram light put the ram back in with the garbage card it would run to the VGA light. I’ve done everything thing I could think of I tried to update the bios but it don’t have a labeled bios update usb or c type port I have even tried the front panel USB’s
