Class 1 bluetooth range on Airpods pro.

I use an asus bt500 adapter on my computer but when walking around where I live the signal will drop if I get too far. I want to know if there is a class 1 Bluetooth 5 or higher transmitter that is able to extend the range.

It is hard to find information about this online and I have seen conflicting information about if class 1 would be able to actually extend the range of class 2 headphones. I don't need to transmit anything back to the computer just audio from the computer to the headphones.
