Thinkbook 15 g2 in a g4 frame

Hi everyone,

I have a strange question. Does anybody here did try to put a thinkbook 15 g2 core ( motherboard, power board, battery ) in a g4 ? Cause I have a g2 frame breaks on the hinge part and a g4 that doesn't work the motherboard fit perfectly like everything else I just dont want to start a fire you know
